Brian, that site is easier to take than those redneck cops who offed a family dog with a shotgun in TN...I should post it as a news link.

that's such a shame! what a great little rabbit, and daresay it, the most famousest of all rabbits on the internet. i too have had rabbits pass away, though by more horrible circumstances (shooting, dogs, and other rabbits). farewell oolong! i place a biscuit atop my head in your honor!

If those are really his ears, I hope he posts pictures when the neighborhood dogs start chewing on them.

Was this the bunny with the waffle on its head? Man, that's sad.

And yeah, the dog-blasting cop in Tennessee is a bastard. But then, it's Tennessee.

the picture of the bunny nestled in its grave is so poignant and makes me feel more for it than i do for humans.

im pretty sure those are carrots as opposed to bunny ears...

its kinda fucked up how he turned his beloved rabbits death into a cute little photo op with stuffed animals posed beside the body...

I'm so sad. Tis a sad day when bunny-with-stuff on head goes to the great waffle in the sky. *sniff*

was the bunny dead in all of the pictures on the site?

No, previous pictures of the bunny with objects placed on its head were taken while it was hale and healthy.

I meant the pictures on the last page of the website where he is propped up on his water bowl.

i think it is just dying in those pictures.
brandon [email] said at 7:54 PM 01-12-2003:
I'd be an angry rabbit, if I realized that I was on my way out and instead of wrapping me up in warm towels, craddling me, and singing soft, little songs to me as I slipped into oblivion, instead of that, my nearly-limp body, and too-heavy eyes were posed for some sentamental glamour shots as if I were already dead, well, you know whose mouth would be filled on a nightly basis with ectoplasmic rabbit excrement?
zack [email] said at 9:38 PM 01-12-2003:
I think you're reading waaay too much into that. All I could tell from those photos is that Oolong's owners must have loved him very much. Those pics convey a real sense of sadness to me.
brandon [email] said at 11:23 PM 01-12-2003:
No it is very sad. That's why I don't think that the rabbit was already dead when they took those final pictures of it. The offerings in the rabbit's grave are very touching. In tribute, last week, I made a picture of Oolong the rabbit with a hibiscus on its head my background at work. And I've suffered discrimination and questions of my virility as a result. Some people remembered the rabbit from pictures last year, when I would grab people walking past and force them to look at some of the things on Oolong's head.

It's time for a new bunny.
