brandon [email] said at 1:42 PM 09-30-2002:
What would really fucking kick ass, would be if the chupacabra swam from Puerto Rico to Guantanamo Bay and eight the prisons there, during morning prayers. 1) All sorts of people would die 2) Harkin would lose it's lucrative chicken-cage construction contracts 3) and crytozoology would become a respectable field. Hell, Fortean Times might even evolve into a peer-reviewed journal of the heighest caliber.

the odd numbered photos are chupacabras, or the mortal incarnation of the Incubus. (Please refer to the movie. With Shatner. In the invented language of Esperanto. With English subtitles.)

No, but really: Are you trying to tell us you've got crabs?

Whoa. Josh and I (and others) were just talking about this movie, including the fact that it was done in Esperanto. What on earth made you think of this?

xmeredithx [email] said at 2:26 PM 09-30-2002:
no. i don't want anyone to read the answers and then respond, because i really am trying to figure something out/prove something. i swear. i'll post the answer later in the week.

and as far as i know, none of the images are photoshopped, though i suppose it's possible.
kiche [email] said at 2:30 PM 09-30-2002:
3. all i want to know, is where did you get a picture of neilbert's cat, pissy?

the correct answers are:

1. sheep
2. bilby
3. mad cat
4. i don't know
5. blue crab
6. goat

i was exploring two things:

a. that goats and sheep are sort of hard to tell apart.

b. and trying to figure out what the animal--#4 above--on the cover of this book is, because i'm really not sure if it's a goat/sheep/dog/hybrid, something. perhaps it is photoshopped. or maybe i should just keep reading the book, and it will be explained...
xmeredithx [email] said at 4:36 PM 09-30-2002:
now that i think about it, maybe it has something to do with the animal shape-shifters. in which case, i have just wasted everyone's time. THANK YOU, GOODNIGHT.
kiche [email] said at 4:42 PM 09-30-2002:
4 is on the cover of an albumn by simian.

what i want to know, is simian the famed simian of the silver apples?
bradley said at 5:17 PM 09-30-2002:
One sure way to tell a goat from a sheep is to try to push it head first into water. A sheep will go in, while a goat will back up into you. A good goat will anyway.

Dogs have toes, too, you know. It could still easily be a sheep dog.

i'm pretty sure no. 4 is an alpaca. i saw some in a pen at a fair a couple of months ago. it's the new weird thing, buy some alpacas, start a farm, make your own alpaca sweaters. i believe people actually think there's income to be had from this.

Alpaca's have short tails, a shorter face and ears that go up. Freind of the family breeds them.

    That is no alpaca.

meenk said at 2:31 PM 10-04-2002:
"The stories present a series of uniquely memorable characters: a woman who spies on young couples making love and who tries a bizarre method of impregnation, a shape-shifter who can transmogrify into various animal and human forms, a young boy whose idyllic summer is jolted by an accident, an anxious man who wants desperately but futilely to enjoy life, and a former President of the United States afflicted with Alzheimer's."

Maybe it is the shapeshifter?

Is the book good?
