Tonight, after work, I met Zack, my roommate, and Maria, my manager at the Black Cat. We saw this indie rock band who are friends with Maria (they took her 1973 hearse on tour). Afterwards, we went to JP's, which is, in Maria's words "the sleaziest strip club in D.C." to catch a party where Maria's two midget friends Carlton and Stevie were MCing. There was, so we were told, a bag of money you could pull a bill out of after you did a karaoke.

So, we get to the place, meet Carlton and find out Stevie is drunk out of his mind and got kicked out for feeling up the stripper's crotches. So no karaoke, no bag of money. Carlton hooks us up with drinks, we chill, drink a bit. A guy gives Maria money to give to the girl on stage. He also tries to balance a beer on Carlton's head, which pisses Maria off. A stripper with cat eyes tattooed on her neck come sup and shakes Zack and I's hands silently, then walks off.

We finish our drinks, go outside. Stevie is drunk in his car. He is trying to fit Carlton's keys into the ignition and drive of (Carlton, for seeing this, switched keys beforehand). He sees Maria, then stumbles onto the street with Carton's help. Both Carlton and Stevie are members of "the Little Kings" an all midget band who has opened for Sting and Tenacious D. Carlton talks to us about how he has played drums since the 6th grade. Stevie grabs Maria's crotch. Stevie grab my crotch. Stevie starts throwing a milk crate around, hurling at doors, walls and cars.

We leave.
