Working.

Well, my current job seems somewhat stable, for the time being, though I have sent out a few resumes (thanks to all who gave me tips), and I have recently sold a single DVD to a lunatic for $500, so I am definitely going on my road trip as planned.

I don't have the scratch to buy a digital camera to use to chronicle it from the road, so I just bought a GameBoy-to-PC cable. Thus, I can take pictures with my GameBoy Camera and post them on Killoggs with Evan's trusty laptop! Hahaha, I'm a nerd. (Not as much of a nerd as Jeff, he built his own cable)

We will be hitting DC on the 10th of June, so be ready. Anyone who has good ideas for places we should hit along the way back, respond here.

How long will you be here? Do you need to stay with me after Ben leaves?

I really don't know. I think Evan wants us to roll out after Bendy leaves, but I'm not sure. He said he didn't want to stay at your house because he thinks you stink.

Well, I don't stink. But there are parts of the house that smell strongly of ferrets. Mostly their room.

The ferrets have their own room? Pretty swank.

I wouldn't exactly call the place swank, but it's comfy. We have four bedrooms: one for me (the best one), one for my other 2 roomies, one for the ferrets, and one "project room," also known as "where craig gets to sleep."

And it's less than 10 minutes walk to the metro!

When we visit, we want to sleep with Craig, not the ferrets.

Well, I'll see if I can arrange for Craig to visit again, so you guys can, um, sleep together.

The DVD was John Woo's the Killer.

The camera is in no way color, and it's resolution is equivalent to the screen of a Gameboy.

I've been thinking about setting up my own weblog called "whatbenatetoday.com". it will just contain a picture of every meal that I eat. Sounds fascinating, huh? We'll talk shop when you get here.

Josh, while in D.C., visit the Krispy Creme factory in Virginia. If the sign is on, that means fresh doughnuts, YUM!

I don't get the Krispy Creme thing. They taste exactly like every other chain doughnut I've ever had.

Where ya headed? I have a couch bed and my cat has his own room. You don't want to sleep with him though. You can sleep with Benny and Squirrel. They like to lick toes. What the hell is a game boy camera?

Evan and I are going east... DC, Richmond, Gainesville, all the poseur fucking punk hangouts.

    Are Benny and Squirrel dogs?

A Game Boy Camera is a camera you can attach to your Game Boy.

I forgot you hate the west.

      No they are my roommates.

For what purpose was a camera invented for a gameboy? For nerds only?

Gainesville Florida is for punk? The only music scene in ABQ is punk.

        The west is cool.

        Roomates are cool.

For kids. they made a little printer for it too. I bought it because it was $5 bucks and I got a gameboy for free. I know a dude who uses the Gameboy as a sequencer to make techno music. He plugs it into his synthesizer and runs it from the gb. He likes it because he can carry around the gameboy and program songs whil eon the subway, etc.

Gainesville is a big punk town, or so I hear.
