cowtown here i come

I just wanted to rub it in before I leave for the holidays that next week when I return my company is sending me to Alberta, Calgary where I will be sure to spend every waking hour when I'm not working tearing Sunshine Village in Banff up!

Anyone from Killoggs in our around Calgary? I'm told the Ship and Anchor is a must stop pub as well.

I'd give my firstborn to swap places with you. Actually no, I wouldn't, but it's the though that counts...I am envious.

I'd give my firstborn without hesitation.

if you were to have a firstborn, i'd ask you why did you play russian roulette with ya ballzac...
ed [email] said at 7:43 PM 11-23-2005:
That's exactly why I'd trade the hypothetical him/her!

If I have a firstborn, there's a SERIOUS problem, Houston.
ed [email] said at 6:17 PM 11-23-2005:
Well, except I'd just want to SEE the mountains, not SKI them. Skiing is for people who are not me.

The Grizzly House in Banff is my favorite restaurant in the whole world. It has fondue and really good beer.
woody [email] said at 11:09 AM 11-24-2005:
There is a lot of buzz about a place called Mukamuk in Banff, I haven't been yet. There is a great little sushi place in Banff called Miki (I think), I found it when I was wandering around at midnight. Surprisingly cheap for Banff. And I'll agree about the Grizzly, though it is in the typical Banff price range (steep!).

I always thought Sunshine Village was the best ski hill, but lots of Calgarians keep driving to Lake Louise. It's a lot bigger I think, but I've only been there once on a crappy day. If you're gonna go a lot, let me know and I'll get you some info on season passes. They offer a multi-hill pass but I don't think it includes Sunshine. I also have a book with some ski pass coupons I'll never use.

How long are you relocated for? Where will you be working? Where are you staying? Will you know some people here? I can certainly help you out if I know what you're looking for.

P.S. It's Calgary, Alberta.
