Whaz goin on?

Well, I was gonna bless you all with my favorite music of 2006 list but the computer I'm using conked out and erased it. Look for the list Christmas Day.

In the meantime, I was just wondering what everyone's doin' for Christmas and especially New Year's? Any big crazy plans and/or parties? Just wonderin'.

I'll be back in a couple of days from the safety of my parents' computer with the official list of my favorite 25 albums of the year. Peace.

For Christmas, I will be trying not to sleep the entire day, as Dec. 24 will officially be the busiest day of my life.

For New Years? I will be softening villages for Lazybones' migration to the N to tha W in W2 of TribalWars.

Yes, I'm a churchy nerd.

After New Year's Day?

I plan on working on that thing some people refer to as Real Life. I'm kinda sweet on a girl, and although it's been almost 24 years since I've tried such a thing, I'm gonna see if maybe she's sweet on me, too. Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it. And maybe some roofies. Kidding! (On the roofies part, not the needing luck part...)

Oh, man. I am (at the end of said day) exhausted and exhilarated. SO much work went on. I pushed myself beyond what a dude my age should be able to acccomplish, and yet, it all worked out and was amazing.

Maybe I just *feel* older than I actually am. But the things that transpired today (mostly unrelated to my "crush", but not entirely so) give me enough energy now that I can be online with a glowing feeling, rather than in my bed, nursing my sore back, feet, and generally pretty much the rest of my body.

I should be Dead To The World, passed out in a combination of exhaustion and aches. Instead, I'm hittting up Killoggs.

I'll be working at the bar on Christmas, stop by if you're in the area!
meredith [email] said at 11:03 PM 12-23-2006:
I'm at home in Slidell for Christmas. New Years I have no idea what I'm doing. I might sit at home knitting with Jake just to be as depressing as possible.

Drive to Baton Rouge and celebrate Christmas/Chanukkah/Winter Solstice/Saturnalia/Yuletide/Fourth Quarter Merchandise Day at Red Star. It is a Baton Rouge tradition. See who has moved out and who is still there!
meredith [email] said at 11:46 AM 12-24-2006:
Rick, I have no car. I should have specified that I'll be back in Chicago for New Years since I have to go back to work on Tuesday. So I'll be sitting alone in Chicago, not Louisiana. Which is admittedly slightly less depressing.
