As of October 1, 2006 the city of Baltimore will see its population rise by one. I got the place, I'll take some pictures when I get the keys. It's a cool little place with a big deck (patio?) that's almost as big as the apartment itself. The only downside is that it's got one of those "kitchenettes" but I'm already thinking of ways to make that work.
As soon as I get settled in, I'd like to invite people over to check it out and what not. Have you ever moved into a place based solely on one feature? The house I lived in down in SWDC I chose 99% because of an exposed brick wall in the main bedroom. This place in B'more won me over with the deck (also it has a fire escape and for some reason I've always wanted a place with a fire escape.)
I'd like to get some cheap (or free) patio furniture to keep up there.
I'm getting the feeling that they may stick me in the Towson store and not the Charles Village one. Either one is fine really. It would be sweet being able to walk three blocks to work but Towson's only a fifteen minute drive from Charles Village so it doesn't matter to me (I've been working at that store this week and I already feel more comfortable at Towson than I did in Dundalk.)
Anyway, October couldn't possibly come soon enough.
