Gay Cowboys Part 2

Fine. I'll go see it.

But the proemblem now is:

A) It's probably pretty good but I'm bound to be disappointed because of all the hype
B) I'll probably be as bored and/or depressed as I think I will be
and
C) I'll probably turn gay

I suppose I have no other option but to accept all of the above as potential outcomes.

But if turning gay because of seeing Brokeback Mountain is what it takes to win the big award at Julie's Oscar party this year then by gum, that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Because I will win. I will become the New England Patriots of Julie's Oscar Parties.

It's inevitable. To quote Khujo Goodie, "you can deny the lie but you can't deny the truth."

Some people spell the world "problem" with one "e" and one "m". But not me.

by the way, manderlay is quite good.

I have yet to see any Lars von Trier films but from what I have heard I doubt I would like any of them except maybe Dancer in the Dark.

from what i have heard, i doubt i would like any of them either.

ironically, the two i have seen i have liked.

i saw the element of crime which i liked. and i thought this one was very well done. i't hard to describe what he did. it was very interesting. "empty stage" would not be an accurate description.

#4 is awesome when you apply it to all movies. After watching Babe I was totally a porker.
meredith [email] said at 10:18 AM 01-31-2006:
You won't turn gay. You'll be happy you're not gay. And I think you'll be pleased with the acting, although I have since heard that Ang Lee was REALLY micromanaging in that respect as in, "take five steps and then stop, on the fifth step, have a single tear roll down your cheek.." so I'll give props to him for knowing when to have them show the emotion at what time and then more props to the actors for actually being able to DO that if that's indeed true.
brianbibbly [email] said at 10:47 AM 01-31-2006:
You'll definitely turn gay. And I'll be waiting on the corner of that turn. . . wink.
carla [email] said at 12:00 PM 01-31-2006:
You won't turn gay but you might become a white cowboy.
julie [email] said at 6:29 PM 01-31-2006:
No fair, you CAN'T win again this year. Because.. because... you won LAST year, so that means by the Rule of Oscar, you have to be the presenter of the award this eyar. And you can't really present to yourself now can you.
kevin [email] said at 6:14 PM 02-01-2006:
so i watched Urban Cowboy a couple of days ago and man that movie is awesome. the young debra winger is pretty hott,
a mechanical bull is a main character, and it has awesome music as well.
