not only does her husband, jesse malkin, apparently write a lot of her stuff for her.
that link goes to a post that talks more about jesse malkin posting stuff as michelle malkin on her (theirs? his?) blog; but it sites this article which details how a lot of what michelle malkin has written has been basically taken straight from the pages of her husband's research papers.
michelle & Jesse Malkin get A LOT of money from right wing think tanks to promote their views.
the only reason michelle malkin has a career is because if jesse malkin (a conservative white guy) expressed vaguely racist anti-immigrant opinions; he would get called on it. they can pass michelle malkin off as a curiousity while she argues that japanese internment was a great thing during ww2, immigration should be halted (she is the daughter of immigrants), and that we should institute racial profiling.

jesse malkin shouldn't be writing any books about political hate crimes seeing as how he committed a politically (racially?) motivated assault on a indian woman who was a yearbook photographer.
both these articles talk about how michelle malkin is such an intelligent media savy player. but this is only the case because the talk show host talking heads throw her soft balls.
here is a link to her appearance on hardball where she argues that john kerry shot himself in order to get a purple heart during vietnam.
she has said repeatedly after this interview that she never said that he shot himself. she does, however, claim that john kerry, "intentionally inflicted himself with an injury". and she has never denied that she believes that he shot himself. and refused to answer that exact question in the interview, and keeps insinuating that kerry did in fact shoot himself. she seems entirely caught off guard that she would even be asked a hard question like this. |

After saying that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth alleged he shot himself to get a Purple Heart, Chris Matthews was badgering Malkin about whether SHE was saying that the allegations were true. Malkin was firm in saying that SHE wasn't the one that was saying this, it was other veterans who were making the allegations within the pages of the book "Unfit For Command," a title the American populace agreed with when given the choice.
Malkin was answering the question, but Matthews didn't want to hear her answer, he just wanted to make his own point. He pulled the same trick earlier in the interview:

MATTHEWS: When the president says publicly that he has no problem with John Kerry‘s war record, in fact he finds it noble, is that hypocritical or is that honest?
MALKIN: I think it is absolutely honest.
MATTHEWS: Because what? What makes it honest? Because how they are [sic] attacking Kerry?
MALKIN: He can‘t—he did not control these—there was no—can you show me directive that said, Swift Boat Veterans do this.
MATTHEWS: I‘m waiting for the phone call that said stop doing it, buddies.

Matthews didn't ask an honest question, he just wanted a set-up for his unfounded (and still unproven) accusation that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth campaign was orchestrated, directed, or funded by the White House or the Bush re-election campaign, and his belief that Bush lied when saying that he found Kerry's record of service "noble."
Fact of the matter is this: If George W. Bush had demanded the Swift Boat Vets stop their campaign against Kerry and they actually DID stop, that would be evidence that they were working on his behalf. Instead, Bush wisely called for an end to attack ads by ALL so-called 527 groups, like the ones funded by billionaires George Soros and Peter Lewis and millionaire Steven Bing that bashed Bush relentlessly. Only a liberal would dream of UNILATERAL disarmament.
Anyway, back to Malkin; you wrote, "the only reason michelle malkin has a career is because if jesse malkin (a conservative white guy) expressed vaguely racist anti-immigrant opinions; he would get called on it." Uh, hello? Remember a white woman named Ann Coulter that you complained about in this very thread? She's white, she holds what your ilk call "vaguely racist anti-immigrant opinions" and she gets "called on it" all the time by the likes of you. And she also is paid well by right-wingers...the ones that buy her books, and put them in the New York Times bestseller list. (Ann, though is single, and has no right-wing husband to feed her stuff. I wonder where she gets it?)
It is a sign of your intellectual weakness that you actually believe that she must be a puppet for her husband's viewpoints, and that she couldn't possibly hold them herself because she isn't a white male. Believing Malkin really thought for herself would mean that you would have to think outside of your "conservatives are all rich white people" box, and your head would explode. Even then, it wouldn't be that messy. It would just go, "pop." |

In retrospect, the target of my response was actually kiche, who has yet to admit that a reading of the transcript of babbling Chris Matthews' interview of Malkin shows SHE never said that Kerry shot himself or that SHE thought he did, she simply said that the charges made by other veterans should be investigated. That, btw, was my "coherent argument." But I can understand how that might have escaped people who think alleging Michelle is Jesse's front qualifies as a "coherent argument" and not a specious allegation with no basis in fact. Kiche's links don't even mean what he says they do; Malkin(s)Watch -- as feeble as it is -- is much more cautious about speculating about her hubby's supposed input into her writings, and never suggested that the *alleged attack on the photographer was "a politically [or] (racially?) motivated assault on an Indian woman..."
And, kiche, in case you didn't know; although Malkin(s)Watch's idea was to counter Michelle's display of unhinged moonbats' authentic pokey pics, that pic of Jesse Malkin is NOT a mugshot; it looks like a yearbook or newspaper photo. Obviously, that full page allegation wasn't enough to get him arrested.
This is the kind of nonsense that will sell Michelle's books even more. You claim she's the liar, and to prove your point, you make stuff up about her and her husband, topping it all off with sexist, scatological slurs in lieu of debate.

And now I have a follow-up question. Your moniker L.N. Smithee, is it direct reference to the name Alan Smithee? That's the name that directors who don't want to be associated with a movie they've directed use. Is there something that you're trying to disassociate yourself from?

hmmm... i think you missed my point. malkin is a product of "personality politics". she is a curiosity because she is asian and wrote a (poorly researched) book defending japanese interment during world war 2. if a white guy (or woman) had written it; that person would not have been given lots of interviews on talk shows all over the country. and there research would have been more scrutinized. the reason she got this break was because she was asian. that's a pretty hefty charge to hurl at somebody; but i don't think you grasp that.

if you'd read all of my comments you'd see that i clearly accused michele malkin (and her husband) of taking money to hold argue in favor of certain political opinions. in fact, jesse malkin is a political consultant. this is his stated job.
also, you seem to be trying to avoid the accusation that her husband is a silent partner in her political book writing business. if you looked through the links i posted, you wouldn't be focusing on this so much; cuz it's pretty clear that he is; and he probably even posts on her blog (which is much more fucked up in my opinion).

I couldn't help but thinking a) results from investigating the Government's expungement of humanity in New Orleans does not constitute a leak, and b) we've got a new cunt on the block.
Rick, I had no idea about the defending of the Japanese internment camps by Malkin or that her husband is quasi-racist. The fact that she is of Asian-descent, is married to a quasi-racist, and supports detainment of foreigners only scratches the surface of how confused and ignorant this bitch is. She was on C-Span yesterday morning and one of the callers basically called her on her liberal-baiting and pretty accurately told her that for someone claiming that liberals are beginning to take things to the extreme her whole book is just adding fuel to the fire. The caller also said that her views kindly ignore the extreme views/actions taken by those on the right. | |
