A couple of weeks ago I picked up his soundtrack to the Louis Malle film Elevator to the Gallows (or Lift to the Scaffold however you wanna translate it.) It's really awesome and I saw the movie this week (it's been re-released for a limited theatrical run) and it was cool being able to put some images with the music I'd been listening to for weeks. What's awesome is the music works on its own and is actually probably a little bit better than the movie it goes with. Kinda like Curtis Mayfield's Super Fly (even though that movie is awesome.)

I'm still learning this stuff anyway, it's pretty fun.

Actually, I wish I could suggest a mix tape trade or something, but I can't imagine any tape i'd make would be worth a damn
