the end of the world

so this is a bit late, but i just got back from montreal yesterday.

i didn't get to do a whole lot while i was there. i saw my cousin get married, walked around, and met up with gen.

i really loved the city, although i really didn't get to explore a lot of it. i plan on going back, though. hopefully next year when i have more vacation time.

it's weird how much of the city looked like something either out of pbs or a david cronenberg film.

oh yeah, and i bought a bottle of sortilège in duty free on the way back. it's quèbècois whiskey and maple syrup liquor.

fuck you woody, you wife beating, child hater. when i was up in quebec gen told me what your kind did to her people.

anyway, there was no absinthe in duty free and i didn't really have any time to wander around shopping before that.

also, i really didn't think to much of the absinthe i had in prague. maybe i just didn't have good stuff.

but i will be back, you hear me canada? i will be back and i will be prepared.

So you would recommend Montreal as a travel destination? I hear a stirring in my blood for a road trip . . .

Is it alright if one cannot speak French?

Yup, you can get along fine in Montreal with english only, especially if you're in the touristy areas like downtown and Old Montreal.

This is a totally fun city, lots of things to do, especially in the summer.

Dude, Teddy, there was a guy in Applebees that was YOUR FUCKING CLONE. I am sad that I did not bring my camera phone to take a picture. Elliot was like,"Hey, that guy looks like Teddy." and I turned around and was fucking floored. Even Chris was like "Holy Shit! It's a Teddy Clone!" Of course we had to kill him in the parking lot, just to make sure the bloodlines stay pure.
