PHILLY YO!

As fate would have it, I will be working in Philadelphia from mid-May till the end of July. Are there any Killogers that live in the City of Brotherly Love who can give me the 411 on the 215? This summer marks the tenth anniversary of my first trip to the East Coast, so it’s a fitting time for an extended visit. I look forward to many trips on the Chinatown bus to see my friends/family in NYC, and I plan on finally making it down to D.C. to see my amigos down there as well. Anyone who’s going to be around this summer and wants to hang, holla!

I recommend The White Dog Cafe near Drexel University. They have good breakfasts.

And I have heard that the Mütter Museum is worth visiting.

Make sure you try to stay in shape while in Philly; don't just run, do some calisthenics and speedbag drills also.

And I suppose an occasional cheesesteak sandwhich is alright; just don't pull a Kerry and order it with Swiss.

I’m working at the Philly office of the EPA this summer. I’m not sure where I’m going to be staying yet, still looking for a place. Any information on good neighborhoods/neighborhoods to avoid would be appreciated. I’m into all types of music…but I guess indie rock and electronic music, particularly. My taste in food runs the full spectrum.

Is the City of Brotherly Love taking a bite out of the Big Apple?
