marcia [email] said at 6:35 PM 07-06-2004: i think it was such an unbelievably stupidly gutsy thing to do...no self respecting paper would make such an assumption. Granted, we've done stupid things too, but man, not THIS stupid.
julie [email] said at 10:22 AM 07-07-2004: The Washington Tines is a joke with a capitol G-O-P. The Washington Post really doesn't have any competition. ....But Page Six in the NY Post kicks Names & Faces' ass, hard!!!
marcia [email] said at 1:43 PM 07-07-2004: i didn't say someone should have gotten fired over this because I think they're a rival to us, because, yeah, obviously, they're not. I just can't believe a newspaper, ANY newspaper, no matter how shitty or good, could make such a horrible mistake in assuming something. It goes against everything journalists and editors do. If this happened at the NY Times or the Washington Post paper, I still would have laughed my ass off and then hoped someone got fired.
josh [email] said at 2:06 PM 07-07-2004: This is the same paper that once ran a photo of a woman (with the last name Lee) who had jumped out of a window and impaled her self on a fence.
marcia [email] said at 2:20 PM 07-07-2004: HA HA HA! brilliant! Sometimes I would love to work at a paper that would write such ridiculous headlines. tacky! tacky! tacky! Damn, that's gonna have me laughing all day.
