As materialistic as NYC may be,
I still cannot to make it back there this summer to visit you, Jad, and my sister.
I need to get away from people who say "epic" and "I know, right?" for a week or so.

    "Epic?!?!"

That is one expression I have not heard.

nathan [email] said at 6:52 PM 04-29-2004:
Kids in VA say those as well - here, everyone says "nice!" too much. We'll have fun when you visit, the flipside to the materialism is that it supports things like this:

I would love to go to NYC with you in August, bro; but alas, I might be starting grad. school then.
I think July would be the best time for me to make it out there.
Nate dog, are you and my sis. going to be around then?

Then maybe I can swing out to 'frisco for December. It will be "epic."

Hey, I'm just reading this - yes we should be here alot after mid-June, when we get back from a Florida vacation.

Coolio, Rick.
I actually consider SF to be a much smaller, laidback, West Coast version of NYC:
Tons of stuff to do, progressive-thinking people, and great public transportation.
There are tons of people who either just moved here from NYC or are just about to move there from SF.

I like being in Manhattan because of the skyscrapers; it feels more like a proper, world-class city but I think 'frisco is overall more beautiful and it seems more laidback. And I am fond of the laidback though I think your laidback lifestyle may fit in better than my lifestyle.
