John chose this place in Andersonville called Big Jones. It was pretty cool! We were the first ones there and the owner was very nice and sat us right by the window.
We waited for a while with no service. I guess there was some confusion since we arrived right when the restaurant opened. Once the owner realized we hadn't been served he said our drinks were on the house for the entire meal. We had two Autumn Manhattans each.

Hmm. My sister is going to visit her boyfriend in Chicago on Sunday before we fly out. Should any of the Chicago k-heads care to grab a bite to eat, let me know. I might give another friend a call if he's actually in town.
The owner sat you right by the window, because it's a restaurant trick to make it show passerby's that people are indeed eating there and that they should too.
They were very attentive with refilling our water glasses. John and I think they may have thought we were reviewing the place because I kept taking pictures with my google phone. After all that water, I eventually had to visit the restroom.
We originally wanted the She Crab Soup, but they had a problem and it burnt, so they asked us to change and we choose the Butternut Squash and oh my god was it good. It was excellent.
I had the Wild Striped Sea Bass which was AMAZING. I cleaned my plate. The sun was making me transparent, but it was also making me very warm. It's a really nice day here weather wise.
And now dessert. It was awesome. John had Mississippi Mud Pie and I had Pumpkin Pie. By now we had been at the restaurant for two hours, so I had to inhale my pie and we had to kind of rush out so John could get to work. But the staff was really really nice and we got all the food for $40 a person. The free drinks were an awesome lagniappe obviously. It was a very fun Thanksgiving.
