So despite the fact that I now trash the city whenever I get the chance I have to admit there are a few things about Philly that I find fascinating.
Numero Uno on that list is the New Year's Day tradition of the Mummer's Parade. I'm not sure exactly the whole story behind it but all I know is that bunch Philly dudes dress up in dresses and "strut" down Broad St. with these big weird floats that they were. Or something.
Anyway, if anyone betwixt DC and B'more would like to come up for the festivities and witness this madness for yourself then hit me up. (Abby you know you wanna go!)

ReggieNotLoggedIn said at 11:54 AM 12-28-2004: DANG! Their strutting didn't agitate your hangover because they themselves were probably hungover as was everyone else on the street. So in that case, maybe it did but you just didn't notice because the entire city was similarly plastered.
