"The Greatest City In America"

BELIEVE
Take a trip on the freeway and look back at the skyline, Baltimore and the bay, the sky and the overpass. A few smokestacks emit slow white clouds upward, yet for each of them, three other factories sit and rot in on themselves. I know this city is a has been.
Baltimore is no longer a worthy destination for the vice. Our carnival of smut and dope is trite. I've been told all the good junk comes here via New York anyway.
The people here are just getting dumber and more lazy. One day Baltimore will nod off like one of its own junkies, and never wake up again.
I am a cell within this diseased entity, and I'm not going anywhere.
4 out of five people I know say they want to get the fuck out of Baltimore. 1 out of 20 of them ever does. 2 out of 3 of THEM comes back within a year.
But not me. I am taking a front row seat in the colleseum, watching the chaos as slaves and lions fight for their lives and their dignity. Dignity - she has flown the coop without a kiss goodbye. Pass me the popcorn.

Yeah I think I posted that article before - I had an idea to do that same thing except with actual citizens sitting on the benches. that was way crappily done I think.
