I almost forgot to mention, I saw this the other day. I really liked it. It was kind of a mess, narratively speaking, but it had such a sense of fun and wonder, and all the diy special effects the characters use to make their "sweded"* movies are so half-assed but clever... it just worked for me. I haven't laughed like this in a theater in quite awhile. Worth checking out, certainly!

* For those who haven't seen it... Jack Black and Mos Def work and/or hang out at a grade Z video store. Jack Black becomes magnetized and erases all the tapes. So when Mia Farrow(?!) wants to rent Ghostbusters, they decide to just remake Ghostbusters since she "is old and won't know the difference". Hijinx ensue and they remake many other movies as well... then of course, the city wants to close their video store and a lot of other things happen too.
