Aside from the bad grammar of this email, I was taken aback.
I will not explain the technicalities of this project, just that it is going to be HUGE, and when I heard about it on the conference call I thought "Ha-ha. Sucks to be you guys."

I'm not angry, this is actually funny. Sure I'll get started on this... Just more stuff for me to leave half-done, but what do I care? Hopefully this means I won't get around to "showing the ropes" to co-workers who think the wireless router means they can login from home, and who ask me why their computer isn't letting them erase files from a CD.

And by the way, boss, I am NOT coming in next Monday.
