Aw man, now you've done it. Spanish Moon people and Baton Rouge scenesters in general are notorious about tracking down random web comments like this and exploding at them in full-on rants. I'm willing to bet money that within 6 months - through self-googling - this will attract the attention of him or someone else and they will post something angry here. I'll buy you lunch in February if it hasn't happened by then.

This was a good show. The opening act's next venue is either the Bronze or the Peach Pit. But Spoon delivered the goods. I went with this friend who pointed out that there are some definite Squeeze influences working there. I'd never heard it before, but, after he said it, it totally made sense.
