The most prevalent birds were myna birds - these are northern cardinals
basically, they don't have bugs, because the birds eat them, and the birds are not eaten because snakes are illegal

but starts to look like this after awhile, so you should stop every couple miles and walk around

or you can go the 7 sacred pools, where everyone is swimming: my favorite was the black volcanic beach in Hana
