I don't know about the weather where the rest of you all live, but it's been storming violently in Chicago for the past week and there's more on the way. Last night was the worst. Trees were knocked down everywhere and power was out for over 300,000 people including myself all night. This tree in the picture above snapped last night and fell right on top of a few cars. They've cleaned it up mostly in the pic. The view from my window has now completely changed without this tree being there anymore. I can't get used to the fact that I can now see the building across from my place that was once blocked by the tree. I hate this time of year. It seems like no matter where you live, August is just a month of bad weather and heat.
