aiden gillen has the worst fake american accent of any actor. i think dominic west (mcnulty) is british, too, but his accent is pretty convincing. until he says, "mary land," and makes it two words...

Cool, except we don't get that show in Canada. I'm still waiting for my appearance on Chris Angel Mindfreak to air. If you ever watch it (I have no idea why) watch for Chris at a blackjack table with some Marines. When the floor manager is on the phone, I am behind him in the front row.

you dont get HBO in canada? if you get HBO im sure its on there, though maybe way late at night or something. also the show is only 12 episodes a year so if you miss its 3 month window you missed it.

Not available. Some networks buy HBO programming once a show hits big, but usually a season behind, I haven't noticed The Wire picked up anywhere yet. I think you'd have to buy a "gray market" dish from an American company like DirecTV.

I never realized, but there is no late national news on the major networks, is there? Didn't there used to be? Yeah, we have 6pm local broadcast and 10pm or 11pm national broadcast.
