Ease Back

Michelle and I went to Austin overnight. She had to attend a Texas Public Relations Association awards banquet; I was just along for the ride. We stayed at the Omni downtown. A cool hotel, but the price was a bit jacked-up (we had to tranfer last minute from the other Omni in Austin we booked a room at. They lied and said it was five minutes from downtown...it was more like 20. This almost doubled the price of the room). I really didn't get to see that much, save for too many hipster doofuses. There was this really cool bar called the Red Fez that we went to. It had booths and the place got packed quick. We wanted to go to Plush to see Jester, Mr. Scruff and DJ Radar, but we got the dates mixed up-- they aren't playing for another 2 weeks. SXSW. Fuck it.

The job situation is looking up from my second to last response in my last post, 'Substitution.' Check it out if you haven't. I thought the situation is hilarious. Sperm donors here make 200 bucks a jerk; women get 3,500 an egg. Not bad if you've got either to spare. I could supplement my income (in cum...lol). My girlfriend says she's not selling any eggs.

Eggs florentine with hollandaise sauce for breakfast. It doesn't get any better, big money grips.

It's not really $3500 an egg is it? All the places I heard of pay that much for one "harvesting," and they usuallu take a bunch of eggs. As many as they can get.

    That's probably the case.

I read a headline that says that women over 35 who have children run the risk of having small, underweight kids and kids with birth defects. Is that true? Anyone?
mary said at 1:08 PM 03-04-2002:
Yes. Along with a host of other problems.

There are also studies, though, that suggest that men's fertility also declines with age, and that those middle-aged dads also court problems.

It's the price we pay, I guess, for postponing our fertility for our educations, careers, etc.

My body says "kid, kid, kid." My bank account says "no." For now, the bank account wins.

So is that the reason most of us are smart and cool and healthy? Because our parents had us young?
mary said at 1:16 PM 03-04-2002:
            Well, that helps.

But then you have to balance that out with the fact that you are more likely to be poor when you are young. Do I want to be a young parent or a financially stable parent? Tough call.

I wonder if I should jerk off for money. I could do it twice a month. That'd be OK...
