Name That Metal Band

So, I'm in a nasty lo-fi thrashy black/death metal band now (ref: Weakling for the sound we are going for), and we need a name.

Please post suggestions. We have already nixed "Broadsword" because:
1) There is already some Australian band with that name;
2) "It sounds goofy,"
3) It sounds like parody metal,
4) or maybe epic metal, like Falconer or whathaveyou.

Have at it, y'all. Your combined cultural knowledge will come up with something, I'm sure.

Who are some of the death metal bands you like? I used to have a lot of that stuff but haven't really been into it as much in a long time. Even hosted a metal show in college and commercial radio for a while. This is amazing, I'm totally going to your shows.

    John can also participate in you and Jeremy's upcoming 'Iron Chef' competitions. Myriam and I will be the judges.

        Because you didn't drink three bottles of wine with Jess and I last night.

          Man, we need to set a date for that.

          John, I love all of the Birmingham stuff (Napalm Death/Carcass/etc.), some New York stuff (Suffocation et al), Devourment, Dissection, Death, the first three Morbid "Hey, was that a bear?" Angel records ... and so on and so forth. I like a lot of the tech bands (Cynic, Atheist, etc) a lot too but I don't think they count as proper death?
            john [email] said at 12:28 AM 11-11-2005:
            Ha ha ha!!! You saw that on Beavis and Butthead! Awesome. Yeah, I like all of those bands. Unfortunately, I sold all of my cds a while back when I was really broke.
              john [email] said at 12:52 AM 11-11-2005:
              Plague Rages by Napalm Death kicks ass, most of their stuff does. Carcass, Heartwork is like my favorite cd. Also, the entire Canibal Corpse live album is good shit. I'm a big Deicide fan too. I was big into Sepultura's early shit, before they started incorporating all of the Brazillian crap into their music, man I could go on for days.

      Iron Chef! Mere and I make good judges. She can be that actress: "it tastes like... hee hee... meeting your lover under the cherry blossoms! hee hee hee!" and I will be the nasty old coot: "This could be good... if it HAD ANY TASTE!"

    There was a Turkish Delight in the northeast U.S. already. Maybe Malcontentment. Any mal- prefix will serve you well for death metal. Or just pick the name of some minor deity from a mayan death cult or whatever. Google Yum Cimil, there ya go. Plenty of underused band names that way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_deity

      There actually is a Wendigo - they're a metal band from Hungary. There are also two Attritions already, and an Ultraviolence. Ciupaga makes me happy because I'm a total Polack.
