Got up at noon; took an exhorbinant shower. Am going go to Sparkey's for breakfast. Maybe later I'll clean my room and send some e-mails. At some point I will leave for dress rehearsal. Probably not going out after that. Still worried about having lost my voice Mon, and openning on Fri. Will probably not feel motivated enough to do anything than watch adult swim until I fall asleep. Will probably wake up tomorow and do something very similar........

It's gorgeous outside here. I am going to roll across the street and look at zines and buy the book for our book club, and then I am going to get some coffee and go to the park and read. Maybe I will take my notebook and try to write, too.
myriam [email] said at 2:48 PM 01-19-2006: hmm, never heard of the book nor the author. Sounds intriguing. Mine is... don't laugh, don't cringe... "White Teeth." Argh! We take turns picking and this one was NOT my choice, it was kind of a surprise. Ahh well. Who's in your book club? People you know, or don't know? We have a Craigslist thing going, which is a blessing and a curse.
josh [email] said at 2:59 PM 01-19-2006: William Gibson coined the term cyberspace. he is a futurist science fiction author. he wrote Neuromancer, among others.
myriam [email] said at 7:52 PM 01-19-2006: Yes. My next book club will be entirely friends. Craigslist makes a good start, and a good way to meet cool people so far, but it's not as serious a discussion as I'd like it to be.
myriam [email] said at 4:02 PM 01-19-2006: Yeah... I'm not looking forward to it. In fact the thing is in one week and I haven't gotten ahold of a copy yet. Not paying for it, that's for sure.
myriam [email] said at 4:03 PM 01-19-2006: I just got it last night! Thanks! Don't worry, I'm a good book returner, and ask John, I'll read that thing in such a way that you'll never know it was touched.
btw Jess "Out" is still sitting in John's room. Next time I'm in town I will hand it over.
amanda [email] said at 3:22 PM 01-19-2006: I am currently writing a cover letter for another position I will likely not get a call-back for because 6+ years of college apparently does not equate to 1 year previous experience answering phones and typing memos.
