meredith [email] said at 4:52 PM 05-05-2005: I'll disagree with a few -
whiskey - jack daniels
weed - eh
hand rolled tobacco - cough
rock and roll - abundant
cats - yes
internet - cable
sean [email] said at 6:42 PM 05-05-2005: things are as expected. we are actually drinking jack daniels and the weed was rolled with tobacco. the internet is stolen, and as far as the cats go . . . they are nuts.
shauna [email] said at 11:31 PM 05-05-2005: they rule. their last album blows. every time live, though. they had a cool spread in horizontal action. if you like sloppy chicago punk, but that zine. it has boobs, too.
whiskey = maker's
weed = expensive and fancy. the brown rice of drugs.
hand rolled tobacco? = pretentious and harsh. unless you are some french chick. then, awesome.
rock and roll? = teengenerate
cats = i make out with my cat every morning
internet? = email is a crap way to communicate
amanda [email] said at 12:31 AM 05-06-2005: I did not care for them live (Cherry Valence), although I did not hate them either. I saw them a couple times while I lived in D.C., most recently in early 2001 with The Fucking Champs. (Wow, that's not recent at all.) I had no idea they were still around, though I'd be curious to hear if they still sound the same.
sean [email] said at 12:25 PM 05-06-2005: i was at that show, it was on the backstage at the black cat. there was a nine foot tall metal guy standing right in the middle of everyone and he didnt move an inch. i think.
