I been recruited. Okay then. Thanks guys. Are my lips really that succulent looking, Ben? You should see my new friendster picture, I've got more hair now. But otherwise, good job. I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that Luster came all the way from Arizona to vandalize my car this weekend. He vandalized it with love though, so that's okay. And I wasn't even there to kick his ass. He thinks I was sleeping. Dude, it was Saturday, I was out getting wasted!
btw kids, logs by definition are already dead, so you can't kill them. You could say killbranches, or killtrunks, but... oh wait... "Killoggs", I get it. Hahaha... heh.. eh...
cecil [email] said at 2:02 PM 10-06-2003: Naw, but it looked like he used lard or something to draw a monster on my rear window that said "We love Cecil". So that was nice. Smelled nice too.
lusterkaboom said at 9:04 PM 10-06-2003: it was shoo polish. i dont know why we drive around with shoo polish but i guess it sure came in handy. oh amber just wanted to point out that it was from our wedding car decorating so it really does come with love!
cecil [email] said at 11:06 PM 10-06-2003: Well your love is making me blind, at least to the rear. But I'm willing to make that sacrifice, cause that's the kind of friend I am.
cecil [email] said at 10:59 PM 10-06-2003: Hello. are you the guy on the right in this picture?

Rickollection said at 11:04 PM 10-06-2003: Nope, I guess we have not met. It is cool though that you get to hang out with "ska girls." I think I am the only one here who likes ska ( albeit First and Second wave only).
cecil [email] said at 11:13 PM 10-06-2003: umm, well, I'm a bigger fan of the ska girls than ska. But you know, the Specials in the 80s, how could you not dig Ghost Town.
Rixxx Are For Kidz said at 11:17 PM 10-06-2003: The Specials were great. They have too many songs that are fun to sing along with. I liked how "Ghost Town" begins sort of eerie and then ends with this trombone solo. I have an album they did with Desmond Dekker which I bought I guess against my better judgement ( most of it was just covers) but even so, they still had some of their old flair.
myriam said at 12:06 AM 10-07-2003: cecil, do you use that same picture to post on another weblog somewhere? seems to me i've seen it somewhere... perhaps something mac-related?
cecil [email] said at 1:54 AM 10-07-2003: I'm the brown guy in the middle. It was at a zine convention in San Francisco, but I only used it once on livejournal. So... I don't know.
myriam said at 2:04 AM 10-07-2003: --oh, I'm sorry--I meant the red fiery woman icon thingy. (That was far too many words...) Are you in CA too? Are we gradually growing in numbers? That's exciting. I'm very pleased. And I like your 09.25.03 entry about beginnings, and a LD relationship... well-worded. Makes me wish I could write. Instead I'll just dip into your weblog from time to time and pretend. Ah, the vicarious life.
cecil [email] said at 1:33 PM 10-07-2003: Ok, no I just started using fire lady on that site about a month ago, but I think that image is an old iconic painting, possibly mexican and/or catholic? But the version I used is from a photo by Pierre et Gilles. Yeah, I live in LA. thanks for the compliments. On livejournal I'm cecilseaside and siriusseaside. You can do it, the more you write the better you get, it's pretty much a formula.
courtney [email] said at 3:05 AM 10-07-2003: Oh, and I agree, Lost in Translation is a great movie. I just saw it the other night. It was especially cool since I was just in Tokyo last month for the first time, I saw many parallels.
Bendependent [email] said at 10:03 PM 10-06-2003: Hey cecil. It's good to see you here. I owe you a book. I've got it in an envelope with your address on it on top of a crate of records. It's been there for two months now. It's got a big see cucumber squid thing drawn on it. I really need to send that thing...
cecil [email] said at 10:51 PM 10-06-2003: There better be dust and shit on that thing or I'll know you're lying. Thanks for the head... uh... you know what I mean.
