Do you want any of these things?

I'm cleaning out my house and finding lots of things I don't want, but don't want to just throw away. I will use this post (and others like it) to see if anyone else wants this stuff, as well as to serve as a place for me to remember some of the items themselves...

If you want any of these items, respond below or contact me. I'd enjoy trading for other weird shirts in size M or S, a board game, NES game, book or something else I might like (weird/dumb videos, something you made), or maybe just a mix cd or something. Or if you have nothing to trade, well, that's okay too. Let's get it started...

Here we have 3 shirts, all large (I can't believe I ever wore Large T-shirts! I wear a small or medium now.) They are as follows:

  • a Sean Star Wars shirt from one of his shows.
  • a Barbara Kruger shirt (Rick has dibbs on this if he wants it)
  • a Church of the Subgenius shirt ("1,000s of Severed Heads!"). It has some oil stains on it.

    Now for some board games:

  • Probe
  • Stellar Conquest
  • Foil (a 3M game)
  • Anti-Monopoly (an older edition than the one pictured)

More items will be following in the responses.

THAT IS MY BARBARA KRUEGER SHIRT
rick [email] said at 10:26 PM 10-30-2005:
I bought it at the Caffery Stained Glass Gallery.
josh [email] said at 10:27 PM 10-30-2005:
No, Mary that lived with Jenny gave me that shirt for my birthday. She worked at that gallery, though.
rick [email] said at 10:28 PM 10-30-2005:
I will check then. I already have that shirt though so someone else can have it. If you have another Krueger design though I will take it.
rick [email] said at 10:29 PM 10-30-2005:
Also, if you have any stickers of the fist with the money and the caption,"Worth Fighting For," I will take that also.
josh [email] said at 10:37 PM 10-30-2005:

  • Strategy for Revolution edited by Regis Debray (Essays on Latin America)
  • All Tomorrow's Parties by William Gibson
  • josh [email] said at 10:43 PM 10-30-2005:
  • A RioCar/Empeg Remote (I'll need money or a good trade for this)
  • 3 8mm film take-up reels
  • unopened sea monkeys
  • Space Hulk for the Sega Saturn
  • A printer switch so you can hook 2 parallel printers up to 1 PC
  • 2 256 MB 200-Pin SoDIMM 64x64 RAM sticks
  • josh [email] said at 10:56 PM 10-30-2005:
  • a bunch of random small ram sticks for use as keychains or art supplies.
  • josh [email] said at 11:07 PM 10-30-2005:

  • "Louisiana - Third World And Proud Of It" size L shirt. Maybe not so funny now.
  • josh [email] said at 11:34 PM 10-30-2005:
  • two 16mm films, b/w, rolled onto one reel. no clue what's on these.
  • a Sony car CD player head unit w/ detachable face. CD player works and plays MP3-CDs, but the face is kinda fucked up. Model CDX-MP30

  • A Nikon FM10 that has the mirror frozen

  • josh [email] said at 11:37 PM 10-30-2005:
  • 2 bw photo enlargers enlargers and various darkroom supplies (timers, pans, etc)
  • film developing tanks
  • several bulk film loaders and bulk film canisters (load your own film)
  • talice [email] said at 11:39 PM 10-30-2005:
ooh, i can't believe it. . .i'm usually too late in these events. can i be so bold as to claim two things? i'll just take one if someone else wants one. i'd like the sean star wars shirt and the barbara krueger (of course unless rick is getting it). i don't wear a L but will remake them into shirts that fit.
board games. . .that reminds me, i bet that "interactive" star trek game of yours is still at my parents house.
rick [email] said at 11:41 PM 10-30-2005:
You can have the Barbara Krueger t-shirt as I thought I had left that t-shirt at Josh's place.
josh [email] said at 11:41 PM 10-30-2005:
interactive star trek game of mine? i don't recall that at all... elaborate? it sounds more like something les might have had, but it could be mine.

and yes, you can have both shirts! kmail me your address!
rick [email] said at 11:44 PM 10-30-2005:
Coincidentally, for a while, a sizeable percentage of the clothes I wore, were ones that Les had left at Clay's house.
talice [email] said at 12:35 AM 10-31-2005:
cool! and i'll think of some things to send you too. shall it be a surprise?

the game involved a videotape. oh, it was was the next generation. i don't remember much except that it was really bad.
talice [email] said at 12:51 AM 11-09-2005:
got the stuff josh, thanks! i'm going to send you something, but i hope you don't mind waiting a little bit. you'll get it in about a month. i guess you'll have a new address then so you'll have to let me know.
josh [email] said at 11:45 PM 10-30-2005:
  • Reggie, I have your grey hoodie
  • josh [email] said at 2:07 AM 10-31-2005:

  • A typesetting cut with an american flag on it.
    • kara [email] said at 10:30 AM 10-31-2005:
      whats crappy about the apex?
josh [email] said at 10:46 AM 10-31-2005:
it's old and BIG and kinda noisy. also doesn't do very good PAL to NTSC conversion. but would be okay for someone who wanted a basic all-region player and was cheap.
josh [email] said at 2:15 AM 10-31-2005:

kara [email] said at 10:31 AM 10-31-2005:

    anyone else?
zack [email] said at 1:54 AM 11-09-2005:
i didn't realize there was all this extra shit being listed. Go buy an xbox and a bunch of games and then get tired of them so you can pass them on to me later.
brandon [email] said at 9:41 AM 11-09-2005:
Josh, all your shit. Damn. Is anyone passing from D.C. to Baton Rouge before the move? If so, I'd gladly take delivery of some of the fine items you have in stock. Otherwise, I've heard that Mexicans love electronics. I've also heard that the dead can speak to us through electronics. It is one of their powers.

You know Josh, it may boost your sales to wash and iron the shirts before taking pictures of them.
