i also might mention that though I only came in for one day to do some extra work in the office, it was a very pleasant place and everyone was super nice.

      yeah, i tend to agree with definition. it usually mean bad management.

      sometimes it means they have no clue what your position is supposed to even be doing, too. this has happened to me a lot with tech jobs at small businesses... they basically consider the tech guys' jobs to be that of working magic that they don't understand.
