I went into it thinking it might be a little more "hard edged" not knowing that nickelodeon produced it and it was a PG movie. It' actually not that bad if you take it as a "kids" movie.

The director of Napoleon Dynamite was like "Oh, shit, this rip off of Slow-Poke Rodriquez is pushing my so-so movie really hard in the latino market, I must make an entire movie involving mexicans for my next movie!"
I saw it personally in California. Napoleon Dynamite played forever in the theaters with mainly the latino youth revisting the theaters with the "Vote for Pedro" t-shirts; they went for Pedro, not the dynamite.

kaycee [email] said at 11:18 PM 06-24-2006: i wanted to stab myself halfway through the movie...and i was on a date so saw it for free. i have always said that comedies are not my favorite things, and this movie just sealed the fucking deal for me.
