At Lunch, in the Lobby
At lunch today, I had to go to Grand Central Terminal on an errand. There is usually this nun at the bottom of the escalator by the subway collecting for some charity. Today, a cop was down there giving her a ticket. She was waving her hands in the air, vividly protesting. I thought it was insanely hilarious.
Upon my return to Sotheby's, I noted that there was a Henry Moore sculpture of a reclining mother figure and a HUGE, shapely female bust by Botero in the lobby. The thing was larger than life size, massive. I SO wanted to touch it. Oh well.
