I've been getting water stuck in my ears a lot. Like after I take a bath. It's really annoying and this hasn't really happened since I was a little kid and would swim in the pool a lot on the weekends. Is this indicitive of something more serious? It sure is annoying. My accoustics are all screwed up.

julie [email] said at 9:16 PM 04-22-2008: Get some rubbing alcohol and an eye dropper-- turn your head to the side (90 degrees) and put 2-3 drops in the afflicted ear canal. You will
"feel" it when it hits the water.. then just turn your head back over and let it all run out into a towel. Voila.
My family went swimming all time time growing up, and when we were kids, after leaving the pool we'd all have swimmer's ear. Once we got home all of the kids had to line up in the bathroom so my mom could put drops in our ears.
milky [email] said at 7:18 PM 04-24-2008: You can really impact earwax that way if you're not careful. People commonly do it (including me). That has fucked up my accoustics until the wax is removed. I do an earwash.
Follow Julie's advice...and I'd get a small bottle of drops for swimmer's ear. Two years ago I had swimmer's ear and that was the only remedy.
john [email] said at 9:21 AM 04-23-2008: I swam a lot as a kid too. Almost everyday. I had this problem and had to get tubes put in my ears to drain the water out of them when I was about 10 years old. Sometimes now though I feel pressure in my ears when there's pollen, etc. in the air in spring. Maybe it's your allergies? If it keeps up for too long, go see an ear nose and throat doctor.
meredith [email] said at 9:29 AM 04-23-2008: Yeah, I will keep that in mind. I don't want some sort of middle ear infection or something. I need my balance.
