I'm really annoyed

We are understaffed, but until we can hire an experienced professional to replace the people who left, they want to hire a temp to help ME out with MY job, so I can help my manager.
The thing is I like the stuff I do and I don't want to hand it over to anyone. Plus, I don't do as much work as they think I do... how am I going to convince them that I'm giving this temp a bunch of responsibilities.
I don't want to teach him/her jack shit!

walk one day in another temp's moccasins or walk a mile in your own and you will see how ridiculous you're being about this whole situation. it's not his fault
