One more - I thought this one looked kinda cool [it was on the same roll of film as The Von Bondies and Boobytrap concert pictures].
gen [email] said at 7:51 PM 06-01-2004: I will definitely tell her you liked it - she was unhappy/complaining about wearing that same old shirt. I strongly discouraged my entire family - myself included - from spending money on special new clothes for this once-in-a-lifetime type event.
amy [email] said at 4:06 PM 06-01-2004: Congrats! You look nothing like your head. You are so pretty. And this whole time I thought you were African American.
gen [email] said at 8:15 PM 06-01-2004: You thought I was Black? hahahaha I guess that head really needs updating. I believe it was based on this picture (the extreme tan is due to the picture dating back to the last time I went to a beach, which was June 2000):
With respect to my grad pictures, I would like to mention that I had a major case of "cap hair", especially since I had to tuck my bangs inside the cap to be able to see, and that my hair usually looks somewhat better (though I am currently at that awkward in-between length, unavoidable when growing out your hair).
gen [email] said at 2:10 AM 06-02-2004: lol. Thank you. My current hair colour is my natural hair colour - with some badly covered up streaks, granted - I guess I'd had my hair dyed since freshman year at LSU.
jake [email] said at 2:19 AM 06-02-2004: Are you slavic? or Czech? I think I remember you saying the former--that's a svelte slavic jaw line you've got.
amy [email] said at 2:52 AM 06-04-2004: Oh, don't put words in my head's mouth, other stuff, but not words. I said you are so pretty AND I thought you were african american. Not wow you are pretty for a black girl..., etc, etc. Bad Zack.
gen [email] said at 7:27 PM 06-01-2004: Thank you all. The May 31st convocation was a bit anticlimactic given that my degree was granted back in February, but we still had a really good time celebrating.
jake [email] said at 8:50 PM 06-01-2004: The whole group looks really warm and happy--congrats on the occasion, and on having people surround you with appreciation (in real life as well as killoggs!)
gen [email] said at 9:08 PM 06-01-2004: The friends I'm lucky enough to have are great indeed. We're hardly ever in the same country anymore, but when we come together we have a lot of fun. There are not enough boys though. [Hint: Montreal boys need apply.]
jake [email] said at 9:15 PM 06-01-2004: Montreal...Montreal...noo, I've got some good boys I could recommend in Syracuse and in St. Louis, but nothing in Montreal...
