In years prior they were a beautiful sunshine yellow. It's so interesting to me how trees change their actual fall colors every year. I always thought that yellow trees during autumn remained bright yellow year after year during the same period. Apparently they don't. I also saw a lot more insane red colored trees this year.
Perhaps trees have color fashion trends like people do. Yellow trees are so 2005.
anotherben [email] said at 1:38 AM 11-01-2006: i have never noticed this, but never spent more than 2 years in a row in a place where leaves do put on a fall fashion show. i like the orange leaves the best year after year.
