I don't know why, but it never even occurs to me to post on killoggs any more (other than comics and youtube videos and whatnot). I think it's been a little over a year (maybe almost two) since I decided to stop. I suddenly felt a need to become more private. It got to a point where I would even type whole posts out and then suddenly think "geez. I really don't care if anyone reads this - or much less comments on it..."
The break has been nice, but now I'm thinking it might be nice to start posting again now and then...
So how goes it, killoggs?
It's 3:07am on Thursday, March 15th. Me and Kim are about to get in her jeep and drive to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. We're in a
pool tournament there over the next couple days. I'm planning on getting my ass thoroughly kicked, but I figured I'd enter it instead of just hanging around with all the skeezy weirdoes. Been playing a bunch. Have gotten a whole lot better, but am still not very good. We'll see how it goes.
I've pretty much decided that I want to get another job, either part time so I can keep freelancing some, or full time someplace cool. How's that for a plan?
Pretty basic.
Next week I'm coming up to NY. Does anyone know of anything going on between Thursday and Sunday? I'm going up there for a job interview. The job is for an art director position at this quirky little greeting card company in Manhattan. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
I also interviewed at the
Express last week. Went well...
Freelancing is hard. It's hard to care. Hard to set deadlines. Hard to work from home. Hard to get inspired. Hard to not have outside stimulation. Hard to adjust to not being in a professional office environment. Hard to judge feedback on things over txt messages.
Baltimore is ok. It's definitely not bad. Living with Kim kicks ass. And I love our house. And our
cat. He is the best cat ever. Looking forward to moving to the next spot though.
I need a little more danger.
