So I'm sitting here listening to Motley Crue and it suddenly occurred to me:
I've never even BEEN to a party ANYTHINGLIKE the one we have planned for tomorrow.
Today was insane, but it's all coming together.
- 2 moonbounces (one that's a boxing ring with no ceiling and these ENORMOUS boxing gloves, and one that has pillars that is set up like a gladiator ring and comes with huge jousting sticks)
- a trampoline that will be surrounded by fire torches
- 2 baby pools (one for a mud wrestiling arena which Scott bought 200 pounds of mud wrestling clay for * and PRIZES for winners * today - and the other to be used as a rinse off pool)
- 4 bands: Flowers in the Attic, The Faeries, New Flesh & Triac
- 2 Yuengling kegs
- 2 grills (one vegetarian and one meat - with an insane amount of food)
- a slip & slide down the alley
- sprinklers
- a dance party strobe light room
- 5 private VIP rooms
- upstairs bar
- Cricket's bringing a truck bed full of surprises
- AND SONNY JUST CAME HOME WITH A $300 VAN THAT HE INTENDS TO SPRAY PAINT, BUILD A MAKESHIFT TENT BETWEEN IT, ANOTHER VAN, AND THE HOUSE, AND BUILD AN
INDOOR SWIMMING POOL INSIDE OF!
So, basically, I'm posting this for those of you who may have your doubts as to what July 4 party to come to....

Scott just came in and showed me something that made me fall down laughing.
All of us have this crazy look in our eyes tonight that I can't really explain. I don't think we've ever done anything at the Farm that everyone who lived here was this much together on. We really pooled all of our resources this time.
Oh, and I think we all might be out of our fucking minds.
carly said at 2:17 AM 07-04-2004: last night at a party i had the joy of waterballooning people unawares at their homes. throw the balloons at their door til they answer then get them in the face when they answer. so much fun. only close friends, though, who won't get offened.

And I even said I overstated my annoyance with some random people who were not killoggs heads mainly because I was exhausted beyond belief when I wrote that comment. but I like to have fun as much as the next guy.

But seriously, I was just too tired to appreciate anything but a nice bed at that point. I was sick for a week after that trip, from exhaustion.
