Beef. It's what's for dinner.

Tonight, I am attempting to convert my vegetarian husband to the ways of the omnivore, armed with the weapon of lasagna. I'm not necessarily against vegetarianism, I'm just against having to cook two separate meals at a time, or not being able to eat things I like because I'd have to eat the leftovers every meal, every single day for a week. I also think Tyler's argument for not eating meat (unsanitary conditions) is flawed, as I worked in a canning factory for 3 days last summer (notice it was only for 3 days), and those vegetables aren't being sent to the grocery store any cleaner than the meat is.

Tyler and I are tentatively planning an East Coast visit for a week in late-June or early-July. We're going to stop in Allentown, PA to visit our friend James The Urine-Drinking Goth Artist, and perhaps visit NYC with him for a night. Then, we are planning to spend a few days in D.C., and a day or two by the ocean in Delaware. We hope to set up the tent and camp in the basement of the Dirtfarm for a night or two.

My roommate has a shirt that says:

Beef: It's what's rotting in your colon.

The lasagna is minutes away from consumption. I was impressed that he had tried chicken at lunch, out of his own volition. The lasagna is going to be so incredibly good. We should make a Killoggs Cookbook with illustrations by Ben, and sell it for fun and profit.

The dirt farm could use a dose of Midwestern sensibilities every now and then.

Yes, you must all visit The Dirtfarm, or you will face the wrath of the Overlord of Mardorth, Glarfroth son of Giliron, and his vicious harpy minions. (Sorry. Too many fantasy books/video games for me lately...)
