Phew, packing is a bitch!! when will I ever be done? There are so many interesting conversations I'd like to be a part of, "last things" I'd like to do, alas. On the other hand it is fascinating to pore through my material memories.

what i have been doing for 2 years straight



I have been working almost entirely on two different houses over the last two years. Both are more or less complete gut renovations, and both are finally being finished up. I did not design them--just helped out here and there on tiny details--but I drew much of them and guided them through construction (with a lot of help from my boss). The one in this entry is my favorite--in fact I'm feeling a strange sensation of loss now that it isn't "mine" anymore... I know this house like the back of my hand. Here are some of my favorite things about it--time to share the fruit of my labors!
