i'm a retard
i was driving around my company's parking garage today. I'm not quite sure how this happened, but I turned an entire car length before the section to go down to the next level. I smashed my Jeep into these sort of retaining wires to keep you from dropping down to the next level. Well they worked but at the cost of the front of my Jeep.

I had to take my tire iron out to pry the bars up to get my smashed fender out from these wires. I tried to back up, but they had snared my Jeep so well I couldn't move. Well by a combination of jumping on what was left of the bumper and the tire iron, it popped loose, but through the tire iron about 60 feet into the wall with such force it bent it at a 90 degree angle.

What a pisser of a morning. In cases where you self-mutliate your vehicle is it better to just pay for all the damage yourself, or file a claim with your insurance?

news from HOusTon
Well i'm down here in hot ass houston now, my wife is still in Connecticut. She's going to begin her epic journey by car down here next week since the doctor has barred her from flying. Like all prospective parents or parents I wanted to share with you baby pictures even if they are still in her belly. These 3D ultrasounds are too cool for school!
Don't ask me which twin is which because I'm not sure, they all look alike to me.

I listed my house yesterday and had two people come look at it. One is going to make me an offer by this weekend. I stand to make about 100k for only having lived here two years. I love this fucking bubble!

life changes
Wow, I have all kinds of crazy life changes going on, and i'm not talking about puberty.
I'll be a dad of twins soon, responsibility I'm still coming to terms with since despite all frontward apperances I still feel like I'm a complete fucktard. Also, starting a new job, moving back to Houston, selling my home. The result of all of this has been a series of totally bizarre dreams which I'll outline below. Please feel free to use any of these as a plot device.

1- I wake up dreaming that some weird sort of glow worms are eating my feet. I actually see something in my closest glowing and swear I can feel stuff biting my feet.

2- I dream I am in the bowels of hell which look oddly similar to my cellar. I'm stealing two diamonds from lucifer himself. My friend gets away with one, he catches me with the other so I stab myself in the back with the diamond to feign death. It sorta works.

3- My pregnant wife and I are transversing a frozen lake which is trepidly thawing. I have concerns about this but proceed anyway to the rowboat we're headed to. Of course the lake gives way and I'm looking upward at the ceiling of frozen ice. Next, I'm in a overwhelming current which hurdles me off a waterfall. I grab hold of some sort of desert brush tree and I'm holding on for my life when I see my wife and some kids in the boat go over the edge. They're alright at the bottom while the water continues to pummel me. A box I made for one of my wife's plays comes over the head of the falls and I grab it. I'm trying to hold onto this box which keeps filling with the water and I have to keep dumping it because the added weight and force threatens to take me over and my grip is slipping.

This shit is better than HBO. I also wake up with raging boners like every other male on this website.

murdering time
So I gave my resignation today at "The Bank". My last day will be the end of the year and then I start a new job working in a castle. Normally my day is filled with unending request from traders wanting to analyze market positions. Now no one has even spoken with me except to awkwardly congratulate me and try to pry information about why and where. Last time I quit a job I sat around for 3 weeks trying to look busy. I sure hope I don't have to play that game again, I really was hoping they'd kick me out today so I could go snowboarding all month.

switching gigs
ok, awhile back I bitched about my discontent of working for a souless entity of an investment bank so I started looking. today I'm going for a second round of an interview at a hedge fund in Rowayton CT that is in an old castle. It's totally wild, the grounds sit on the Long Island Sound and is 1/2 mile walk from my house.

Somehow I still wonder if I'd be happier in Wyoming shoveling horseshit on a ranch.

quitting smoking again
i'm quitting smoking again. i quit about 6 years ago using Wellbutrin, it's an anti-depressant same thing as Zyban. Living in the fucking North East drove me to smoking about a year ago. I quit on and off, finally getting sick of quitting and feeling like shit for a few days then starting up again I went to the good ole doc and asked him to write me a script. So it's like day four of not smoking and I'm on a double dose of this shit. It's really messing with my head, my hands constantly feel like they have soap on them. I think they are actually making me more depressed, definitely very numb and I can't focus on any train of thought for very long.

what does one do when they work somewhere where they make a pile of cash but abhor the meaningless dribble of working day in and day out for a souless entity? i'm a greedy bastard and the cash lets me do all kinds of fun stuff when I'm not at work. If I leave and try to find a more "meaningful" job will I just be disappointed and broke?
