Baltimore sightseeing.
One of my favorite things to do in Baltimore is people watch. I have a prime spot being at work in Hampden because I sit at the desk of an antique shop with big glass windows facing the avenue.
My favorite people are as follows:
The white trash girl who does nothing all day but push her stroller around. She always has a different boyfriend with her. But her boyfriends always have one thing in common: Face Tattoos.
The white trash guy with the long white t-shirt, and Nirvana tattoo on his neck. He walks a pit bull around a lot and yells at it. "Stoopit DAWG why you no listen to me?!" he says. He enjoys "falling asleep", "nodding off" and "passing out" in our doorway.
The old man with a poncho and sombrero who clicks around the block with high heels on. He usually wears tights but lately it's been too hot. He never talks. And hes about 65 years old.
God Bless America. And all the sores covering these people's bodies!

Then he danced around and said "I'm hungry but not three dollars worth of hungered thats for sure...WOO!" and jumped into the wall before being escorted outside to roam Eastern avenue once again.
Oh golly, ONLY IN BALTIMORE! HAR HAR.

Sweet Little Thing
Saturday afew friends and I snuck into the black cat to see Lucero. It was funny. We tricked that asshole filled club and drew the circle stamp on our hands with a bic pen. We were already tipsy so it looked like a big blob/square more than a circle, but it worked. We smashed faces rushing to the front of the crowd who wasn't moving at all, just staring like retards at the band. We rocked the shit out of them, making fools out of ourselves, but by this time, that band knows we're fucking out of our minds. We got left at the Black Cat by our friends who couldn't get in and had to bum a ride home from some kids going back to Baltimore. Then last night we drove all the way to New York after being up all night and got to the Bowrey Ballroom just in time for them to be sold out. Despite plans of trickery and attempted help from the band, we discovered that New York has tighter security than Baltimore or DC. But it was worth it. I got a pina colada from the Italian festival down the street in a beer bong shaped like a guitar. It made me feel all wonkie and then we drove home high on the fact that at least we have a band that we love enough to follow around. Even if 75% of my friends hate them. They are all mine for the time being. I love the feeling of being able to see a band I love. On the way home we talked about three bands we'd travel anywhere to see. Or at least almost anywhere. Even if it's a band that can never be formed or it would be totally unrealistic to ever see for real. In our imaginary world per say. For the moment I think mine would be Catherine Wheel, Thee Michelle Gun Elephant and perhaps maybe a tie with an original jam between Jawbreaker and/or Dinosaur Jr. Subject to change.

Hate.
Yaay! Now I finally have someone to hate on Killoggs.
I don't even really know said person very well, all I know is that I hate them. I read their posts and cringe...."OOoooOOOh I hate you......"
It's not like I even post here much, but I do read it a lot, and now..NOW FINALLY I can fill my heart with that beloved hate.

Tony and Kristen Survivor
My friend Tony is an athiest who sings for a "GOD FREE YOUTH" band. My friend Kristen is a serious christian who plays a mean guitar at church each sunday. They like eachother pretty good one time....and it's just a reality tv show waiting to happen. He just stopped into my coffee shop and asked her to give him a path in life because he feels discouraged. Kristen said "accept Christ and I'll marry you."
And she was serious. Woah doggies.
